This PC is based on a DDR4 platform - that means meaningful CPU upgrades would also require motherboard and RAM upgrades at the same time. This is the trade-off with a lower priced system and we'd never hide that. - The trade-off with using a more mature CPU platform is the limited upgrade path of the CPU and RAM, however this is balanced by the more affordable price. This PC is still upgradable and uses components that are consumer-grade, not locked-down rubbish
- Due to not having the internal connector on this motherboard, the front USB-C port is not usable. If you would like us to get it running we can install a USB 2.0 header adpater. This will allow use of the front USB-C port but at USB 2.0 speeds

If you wish to upgrade RAM on this model please contact us rather than using the dropdown for a significant saving (This PC uses DDR4 memory which can be upgraded more economically)
- Highly recommended: upgrade CPU cooler to a tower-style cooler for +£25. This will improve the noise profile and cooling of the system. Performance gain will be fairly modest, but the noise improvement will be more noticeable. Speak to us via live chat to apply this upgrade. A 240mm (2-fan) RGB liquid cooler is also available for a little more, if you prefer the aesthetic
- Beyond that, we really wouldn't change anything about this build. Any more money you throw at it won't really net you any meaningful performance. It is well balanced

How Long Until I Get My PC?
Build time is typically 7-10 days
Shipping time is typically 3 days
Most orders are delivered within 10-14 days. If you need it faster please get in touch
If you pay by bank transfer, we can build your PC faster, knocking 2-3 days off the standard completion time
In rare circumstances where availability is low, there may be a delay - we will contact you if so. Rest assured, your payment is not actually taken until stock is confirmed
Delivery and Packaging

Delivery is normally made on weekdays. You can change the delivery day (including weekends) via the tracking number or DPD app

Warranty
PC36 offers a gold-standard 3-year warranty on all PCs
This covers component and assembly faults
It does not cover accidental, liquid, or vandalism damage, nor overclocking.
User error including pirated software or viruses is not covered
Repair/replacement is attempted first, and if unable to/uneconomical a refund may be offered
Returns Policy
Returns are accepted within 14 calendar days of delivery, with the following conditions:
- Buyer bears responsibility for return postage cost (unless faulty), and responsibility for the safety/condition of the parcel on its journey back to us
- All serial numbers are recorded and any discrepancies will void the return
- The PC and packaging must be returned in saleable as new condition. All packaging and accessories must be included in the return or it will be void
- Refunds are sent directly to the payment method used for the order

Excellent service all round. I wanted a custom PC build and communications with Jack@PC36 to achieve exactly what I wanted were both helpful and timely - the final price was very competitive too. The build was slightly delayed as component testing revealed that the selected graphics card was both noisy and ran too hot under load. Comprehensive testing prior to purchase is essential and PC36 ensure this is done. The replacement card Jack selected runs both quietly and within temperature tolerances for the SFF case. In sum, a very positive experience. PC36 are highly recommended for your next PC build.
