๐ Kraft Two
Flow between creation and play
Kraft Two is built the way an editor would spec it rather than the way a gaming PC usually gets specced. Twenty-four Intel cores for export and render times, 48GB of memory, four M.2 slots and two Thunderbolt 4 ports, all in a white build behind wraparound glass. It games extremely well at 1440p as a consequence rather than as the point, and that ordering is deliberate.
๐งฌ Built to last, designed to evolve
Every PC36 system is upgradable over time, so your investment grows with your needs. This build in particular leaves room to grow into: three of four M.2 slots free, two of four memory slots free, and a power supply specified with enough headroom that a much larger graphics card needs no other change. Ask us on live chat about GPU swaps, cooling changes or storage additions at any point in the machine's life.
๐ Specifications
- ๐ง CPU: Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- 24 cores in total: 8 performance cores boosting to 5.5GHz and 16 efficiency cores at 4.7GHz, with 76MB of combined L2 and L3 cache
- Those 16 efficiency cores are the reason this chip is here. In an export, a render or a compile, every core counts, and this processor finishes that kind of work substantially faster than the eight-core gaming chips we fit elsewhere in the range
- Intel Quick Sync on board, a dedicated media engine that handles H.264, HEVC and AV1 encoding and decoding in hardware. Paired with the graphics card's NVENC, that gives you two independent encoders: one can be running your stream while the other exports a timeline
- Being straight about the trade: in pure gaming a Ryzen X3D chip is roughly 10 to 15 percent ahead of this one, because 3D V-Cache is very good at exactly that one job. It is nowhere near this processor in multi-threaded work. If you only play games, one of our Ryzen builds is the better buy and we would tell you so on live chat
- Socket LGA1851 on the Z890 platform, with official support for DDR5 well beyond the speed fitted here
- โ๏ธ CPU cooler: Thermalright Aqua Elite V6 360mm ARGB liquid cooler, white
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- 360mm radiator with three ARGB fans and an ARGB pump head, in white to match the rest of the build, mounted in the top of the case as exhaust
- Top mounting rather than side is deliberate. The side mount on this case sits directly behind the wraparound glass, and that space belongs to the intake fans you can actually see. Putting the radiator up top keeps the view clean and sends processor heat straight out of the roof
- A 270K Plus under a sustained render is a genuinely demanding load, unlike a gaming chip that peaks and settles. 360mm of radiator is specified for that sustained case, not for the peak, which is why the machine stays quiet during long exports rather than only during games
- ๐ฒ Motherboard: ASRock Z890 LiveMixer WiFi (ATX)
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- 18+1+1+1+1 phase power design with 80A SPS stages. Plain English translation: enormous power delivery headroom, which matters more here than on a gaming build because a 24 core chip under a long render draws hard and keeps drawing. The board will not be the thing that limits this processor
- Two Thunderbolt 4 / USB4 Type-C ports on the rear, which is the single biggest reason this board is in this build. External SSD enclosures at up to 40Gbps, professional displays and capture devices all connect directly with no add-in card. There is a front USB 3.2 Gen2x2 Type-C header as well
- Four M.2 slots, one PCIe Gen5 x4, two Gen4 x4 and one hybrid Gen4 x4 / SATA. Three stay free, which is what makes a proper scratch disk and archive setup possible later without replacing anything
- PCIe 5.0 x16 from the processor for the graphics card, plus two further x16-length slots running at x4 from the chipset for capture cards or additional storage
- Four DDR5 slots supporting up to 256GB, two of them free
- Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet onboard, with Realtek ALC1220 audio
- PC36 only uses motherboards chosen for stability and longevity. See our Trusted brands page
- ๐ Memory / RAM: 48GB (2ร24GB) DDR5-5600 CL40
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- 48GB rather than 32GB or 64GB, and that is a considered choice rather than an odd one. 24GB modules give you half again as much capacity as a 32GB kit for far less than a 64GB kit costs, and they do it while still running in dual channel across two slots
- Capacity is what runs out first in creative work. A 4K timeline with several streams, a large After Effects composition or a big Photoshop file will exhaust 32GB long before it becomes limited by memory speed
- On the timings: CL40 at 5600 is a looser specification than the CL36 kits in our gaming builds. That is the honest trade for large-capacity modules, and it is a trade that suits this machine. Intel's platform is far less sensitive to memory latency than AMD's X3D chips are, and creative applications care about how much memory you have rather than how quickly it responds
- Two of the four slots stay free, so 96GB later means adding rather than replacing
- Specification guaranteed, model may vary. Happy to confirm the exact part on request
- ๐พ Storage: 1TB NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD (TLC)
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- TLC flash rated at 6,500MB/s or better, which holds its speed on long sustained writes rather than dropping off once a cache fills. On a machine bought for video work that is the specification that matters, and it is why we do not fit QLC here
- Higher write endurance than the entry-tier alternative, which matters when you are ingesting footage and scratching to disk daily rather than installing a game once
- If you want a DRAM-buffered drive specifically, ask us on live chat. For sustained professional workloads there is a case for it, and we would rather have that conversation with you than quietly fit either one and let you find out later
- Three M.2 slots stay free, one of them PCIe Gen5. Adding a dedicated scratch disk and a separate project archive later is straightforward
- Specification guaranteed, model may vary. Happy to confirm the exact part on request
- ๐ฎ Graphics card: NVIDIA RTX 5070 12GB
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- NVENC and NVDEC for hardware encode and decode, CUDA acceleration in Resolve, Premiere and Blender, and DLSS 4 when you are playing rather than working
- A high refresh 1440p gaming card as well. In most modern titles at high settings it sits comfortably above 100fps
- Straight answer on the 12GB: it is comfortable for 1440p gaming and for most editing work, but VRAM is the first thing you run into on heavy effects work, 3D rendering and large node graphs. If that is your daily job rather than an occasional task, take the 16GB upgrade below. It is the first upgrade we would suggest on this machine
- The chipset and VRAM are guaranteed: it will always be an RTX 5070 with 12GB. The AIB brand varies with availability, and we only use established manufacturers. See our Trusted brands page for more info
- ๐งฐ Case: Corsair 3500X RS-R ARGB, white
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- Dual chamber design with wraparound tempered glass across the front and side, so the build is on show from two angles and the cabling lives in the second chamber where it is not
- Takes graphics cards up to 425mm and CPU coolers up to 170mm, with room for up to an E-ATX board if this machine is ever rebuilt
- 360mm radiator support in both the top and the side. No front mount, which is what determines the cooling layout described below
- Validated for rear-connector motherboards, so a future rebuild with a hidden-cable board is an option rather than a project
- ๐ฌ๏ธ Case cooling: 4 ร 120mm ARGB fans. Three reverse-blade intakes included with the case, one rear exhaust fitted by us, plus the three fans on the radiator
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- The three intake fans are Corsair RS120-R, and the R matters: they are reverse rotor, meaning the blade face rather than the frame and hub is what you see through the glass. Corsair make a reverse version for precisely this kind of case, and fitting the ordinary version instead would mean looking at the back of three fans all day
- Those three sit on the side mount, feeding cool air directly across the graphics card and motherboard. We add a fourth at the rear as exhaust, because intake without a matched outlet just pressurises a box
- The radiator's three fans exhaust through the roof, so processor heat and graphics card heat never compete for the same path
- Seven fans in total, all white, all ARGB, all tuned before dispatch. Airflow is verified through our standard stress testing rather than assumed
- โก Power supply: Gigabyte UD850GM PG5 V2 ICE 850W 80+ Gold, fully modular
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- White throughout, including the cables, which is the reason this specific unit is here. Most white power supplies ship with black cables and undo the effect entirely
- Fully modular, which genuinely matters in this chassis. A dual chamber case has less room for slack than a conventional tower, so fitting only the cables this build uses keeps the second chamber tidy and the airflow clean
- Native 12V-2x6 PCIe 5.1 cable, so the graphics card plugs straight in with no adaptor and no dongle, and so does a much larger one later
- 850W against a build that draws well under it. That headroom is what allows the RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5080 upgrades below without changing anything else
- ๐ Cabling: White cabling throughout, neatly arranged
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- The power supply's own white cables are used, so there is no black run breaking up the build where it shows through the glass
- The second chamber takes the slack, and the visible runs are finished cleanly without being overtightened, so future upgrades stay straightforward
- White braided cable extensions are available from the upgrade options if you want the visible runs to have more texture
- ๐ถ WiFi / Bluetooth / Ethernet: Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, included
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 are built into the ASRock Z890 LiveMixer WiFi. No separate adapter needed, and the aerial is supplied in the box
- Wi-Fi 7 adds the 6GHz band and wider channels, which is usually far less congested than 2.4 and 5GHz if your router supports it
- 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, which on a creator machine is worth more than it is on a gaming one: moving project files to and from a NAS at wired speed is a daily task rather than an occasional one
- ๐ช Operating system: As chosen by you from the listing options below. Windows 11 Home (OEM) is recommended.
- ๐งน Setup and optimisation: PC36 High-Class Standard. Full stress test with certificate, bloat-free installation, and BIOS set up properly
Click or tap for deeper spec info
PC36 High-Class Standard, included free with every build
- Ready the moment you open the box. Your PC boots straight into Windows with a local account already set up. No account sign-in wall, no first-run questionnaire, no half-hour of setup before you can use the machine you just bought
- BIOS updated and configured properly: manual fan curves, memory profile enabled, Secure Boot enabled, power limits set correctly for this processor rather than left on a board default
- Vanilla Windows 11 installation if you choose Windows, with no bloatware added by us, and all drivers loaded and ready to go
- Full stress test with certificate. Every system is torture tested on CPU, RAM and GPU before dispatch, and ships with the certificate to prove it
PC36 Premier Optimisation, available in the listing options
- CPU tuning to bring thermals and noise down with minimal performance loss, plus a deeper strip and debloat of Windows
- Includes a proper acoustic pass on the fans, with curves tuned by ear and under load. Worth considering on this build specifically: a machine that renders for an hour at a time is one you hear, and a gaming machine that peaks for thirty seconds is not
PC36 Ultimate Performance Tune, available in the listing options
- Advanced overclocking: RAM tune, CPU tune and GPU overclock on top of everything in Premier
- On a creator machine this is worth having a conversation about rather than simply buying. Stability under an eight-hour render matters more than a peak benchmark figure, so our tuning here is more conservative than it would be on a gaming build. Ask us on live chat and we will tell you honestly what it is worth for your workload
- ๐ก๏ธ Warranty: 3 years parts & labour (return to base)
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- Standard 3-year coverage included, parts and labour both
- Optional extended warranties in the listing options below
Why don't all parts list a brand and model?
Most of our spec is named exactly. The processor, motherboard, case, cooler and power supply are the models listed, every time.
For memory, storage and graphics cards we give a performance and quality guarantee instead of a model name. Supply on these three moves constantly, and pricing with it. Rather than list a part we might not be able to source next week, we commit to the specification: capacity, speed, timings, endurance class. And for graphics cards, we will always give you the chipset (e.g. RTX 5070) and VRAM (e.g. 12GB) that is listed.
We only use parts from established manufacturers. In practice the difference between two well-made components at the same specification is small enough that most people would never notice it.
If you'd like to know exactly what's going into your machine, ask before you order and we'll tell you. If you'd prefer a particular model, we can usually accommodate that, and you'd pay the difference in cost.
๐๏ธ Transparency notes
- Product images are representative photos of a similar spec in the same style. Your PC will look similar but not identical. Our support team can help clarify anything you're unsure of.
- Every component in this build is white, including the power supply cables, for colour matching across the Kraft series. White parts generally cost more to source than their black equivalents because they are made in smaller numbers, and that is reflected in the price rather than hidden in it. A black version of this machine costs less: ask on live chat and we will quote it.
- The memory runs at DDR5-5600 CL40, looser timings than the CL36 kits in our gaming builds. That is explained in full in the memory section above and is the right trade for a machine specced around capacity.
- RGB heatspreaders on the RAM are not guaranteed unless the quick add-on is chosen. White memory is fitted where stock allows but is not guaranteed.
- If you upgrade to an RTX 5080, shipping changes. That system contains a bulky and highly valuable graphics card, so we ship the graphics card in a separate box with simple instructions showing you how to install it. All graphics cards have a point of weakness at the PCIe connector, and separate shipping prevents damage that can occur despite our packaging. The card is still built into your system, stress tested in it, and then removed for transit. If you have any queries about this, please contact us.
- Most parts are named models and will be what is delivered. RAM, SSD and graphics card will instead carry a spec guarantee due to current market conditions making stock very variable. This keeps us agile enough to offer good pricing and honest spec lists. If you want clarity on precise models we will use, drop us a live chat on the day you're ready to purchase and we'll confirm it.

-
GPU upgrade to RTX 5070 Ti 16GB or RTX 5080 16GB: choose either from the quick-add upgrades, or speak with us via live chat.
Click or tap for more info
The first upgrade we would suggest on this machine, and on a creator build the reason is VRAM rather than frame rates. 16GB is what keeps heavy effects work, 3D scenes and large node graphs from spilling out of the card, and that is a hard wall rather than a gradual slowdown. The 850W power supply already handles either card without any other change. If you upgrade to a 5080, shipping changes, as explained in the transparency notes above.
-
Storage: 2TB in the listing options, or a second drive added via live chat.
Click or tap for more info
The upgrade most creators actually need. With three M.2 slots free we can fit a fast scratch disk alongside the system drive, or a larger archive drive for finished projects, or both. Tell us how you work and we will suggest the layout rather than just selling you capacity. This is also the conversation to have if you want a DRAM-buffered drive.
- Memory upgrade to 64GB or 96GB: available via live chat.
Click or tap for more info
Two slots stay free, so this is an addition rather than a replacement. Worth it for large After Effects compositions, multi-stream 4K timelines, heavy 3D scenes or running virtual machines alongside your work. For editing alone, 48GB handles a great deal.
- Braided cable extensions in white: available from the quick-add upgrades section.
Click or tap for more info
The power supply already supplies white cables, so this is about texture rather than colour. Worth it on a build behind wraparound glass where the visible runs are on show from two angles.
- Black version of this build: available by request via live chat.
Click or tap for more info
Same specification, black components throughout, and it costs less. White parts are made in smaller volumes and cost more to source, so if the colour is not the point for you, we will pass that saving on. Ask us for a quote.
๐ฏ What is this PC best for?
