💎 Glamour
Built to be looked into, not just looked at
Glass on the front and glass on the side is easy to do badly. What makes Glamour work is what sits behind it: a dual chamber case, so the power supply, the drives and every cable live on the far side of the motherboard tray, and the side you look into holds the board, the cooler and the card. 8 addressable fans and a lit pump head fill the space that is left. There is nothing in there you would rather not see.
Underneath the light show it is a properly balanced machine. The Intel Arc B580 carries 12GB of memory, which is more than almost anything near this price, and the Core i5-14400F behind it has 10 cores. That combination is unusually strong for competitive shooters at high frame rates and equally happy in a story game with the settings turned up.
This PC is already built and ready to ship. The catch? Just one in stock, and it will not be restocked. Our already-built PCs take advantage of supplier deals, which we pass onto you, but aren't repeatable ad infinitum
🧬 Built to last, designed to evolve
Built on Intel's LGA1700 socket. The board has four DDR4 slots with two free and two PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots with one free, so memory and storage both grow by addition rather than replacement. The case takes graphics cards up to 410mm and coolers up to 160mm, and has radiator mounts still unused. Being honest about the platform: LGA1700 is a mature socket rather than a current one, so this is a machine to upgrade within rather than to build forward from, and the price reflects that.
📃 Specifications
- 🧠 CPU: Intel Core i5-14400F
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- 10 cores and 16 threads: 6 performance cores boosting to 4.7GHz and 4 efficiency cores, with 20MB of cache. 65W base power, though turbo behaviour normally takes it well above that and it will pull up to 148W with everything loaded, which the 240mm liquid cooler absorbs without the fans becoming something you can hear
- Ten cores at this price is the reason this build punches above its weight. The six performance cores do the work in a game while the four efficiency cores absorb everything else running in the background, which is exactly what you want if you have a browser, Discord and a stream open alongside
- Fast enough that the graphics card is what limits this machine in demanding games, and quick enough in the lightly-threaded competitive titles where the processor usually is the limit
- The F suffix means no integrated graphics, which you do not need with a card fitted and which is why it costs less than the chip beside it on the shelf
- ❄️ CPU cooler: Fractal Celsius S28+ Prisma RGB, 280mm liquid cooler
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- A 280mm radiator against a processor that peaks at 148W, which is a comfortable margin rather than a marginal one. Surface area is what buys quiet
- The pump head is lit and the fans daisy-chain their lighting into a single connection, so the whole set runs from one motherboard header with no separate controller and nothing to install
- More than enough cooling capability for this system.
- 🔲 Motherboard: ASUS PRIME B760M-A WIFI D4 (micro-ATX)
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- Intel B760 on a 244 × 244mm micro-ATX board, LGA1700, with four SATA ports
- Four DDR4 slots supporting up to 128GB, and XMP works properly here. B760 permits memory overclocking, which the cheaper H610 tier does not, so the memory runs at its rated profile rather than a fallback. Two slots are free
- PCIe 4.0 x16 for the graphics card, plus two further PCIe 4.0 slots running at x4 and x1
- Two M.2 slots, both PCIe 4.0 x4. One is used, so a second drive can go straight in and run at full speed
- 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet and Wi-Fi 6 with Bluetooth 5.2, aerial supplied. The 2.5 Gigabit port is the one that matters if your media lives on a NAS
- Rear I/O has two 10Gbps USB-A ports and four USB 2.0, plus DisplayPort and two HDMI outputs. The case's front USB-C runs from the board's internal header
- PC36 only uses motherboards chosen for stability and longevity. See our Trusted brands page
- 📏 Memory / RAM: 16GB (2×8GB) DDR4-3200 CL16, Netac Shadow
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- A matched pair running dual channel at DDR4-3200 CL16, with the XMP profile enabled in the BIOS before it ships rather than left at the JEDEC fallback
- Dual channel is not a detail, it is the difference. A single 16GB stick would cost you real frames. Two 8GB sticks is the right way to buy 16GB and it is what is fitted
- 16GB covers every current game at these resolutions with room for a browser and Discord alongside
- Two of the board's four slots are free, so going to 32GB later is a matter of adding a pair rather than throwing away what is in there. That is a genuine advantage over the two-slot boards common at this price
- 💾 Storage: 1TB NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD (TLC), Origin Storage Inception TLC830 Pro
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- 2,100MB/s read and 1,900MB/s write, 3D TLC flash, rated for 400TB of writes over a three year warranty
- This is a PCIe 3.0 drive in a board with PCIe 4.0 slots, and we would rather point at that than let you find it. In use the difference is very hard to notice: game load times depend on far more than sequential throughput and Windows feels identical. Copying very large files between drives is where it would show
- TLC rather than QLC, which matters more day to day than the PCIe generation does. TLC holds its write speed as the drive fills, where a cheap QLC drive slows once its cache is used
- The second M.2 slot is free and it is PCIe 4.0, so if you do want a faster drive later it will run at full Gen4 speed rather than being held back by the board
- 🎮 Graphics card: Intel Arc B580 12GB, ASRock Challenger OC
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- 20 Xe cores with 20 ray tracing units, 12GB of GDDR6 on a 192-bit bus at 456GB/s, 190W board power
- 12GB is the headline, and it is unusual at this price. Most cards near this money carry 8GB, and video memory is what ages a card fastest. Textures at maximum in a modern title will exceed 8GB at 1440p; this card has the room to keep going
- XeSS upscaling, a machine-learning model rather than a simple sharpening pass. It is what makes 1440p comfortable and puts 4K within reach at lower settings
- Full AV1 encode and decode, which is genuinely ahead of what NVIDIA offer at this price and matters if you record or stream
- Three DisplayPort 2.1 outputs and an HDMI 2.1a. Ray tracing is present and usable at 1080p in most titles
- Powered by a single 8-pin connector. Intel recommend a 650W supply and this build has 750W
- Resizable BAR is enabled in the BIOS before it ships, which Intel require for Arc to perform as intended
- 🧰 Case: FSP S342, Black, dual chamber
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- 425 × 275 × 354mm, micro-ATX, with tempered glass across both the front and the side. The wraparound glass is where the fishtank description comes from
- Dual chamber. The motherboard, processor and graphics card sit behind the glass; the power supply, the drives and the cabling live in a second compartment on the other side of the tray. That is why the visible side stays clean without heroic cable work, and it is the single best thing about this chassis
- Six 120mm addressable fans come with the case, arranged as reverse-blade intakes in the side and the floor plus a rear exhaust. Reverse-blade matters in those positions: a normal fan's blade geometry works against the direction of travel there, and a reverse-blade fan is built to push the other way
- Graphics cards up to 410mm and coolers up to 160mm, neither of which is close to a limit here
- Radiator mounts in the top for up to 360mm, in the side for up to 240mm, and three more positions in the floor. The 240mm cooler fitted uses the top
- Front I/O is two USB 3.0 ports and a USB-C
- 🌬️ Case cooling: 5 × 120mm ARGB intake and 3 × 120mm ARGB exhaust, eight fans in total
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- Two in the side and three in the floor drawing cool air in, one at the rear and two on the radiator taking it out. Six come with the case and two come with the cooler, and every one of them is addressable
- The floor and side intakes feed the graphics card directly, which is the point of a dual chamber layout. The card is not breathing air the processor has already warmed, because the processor's heat leaves through the roof on the radiator
- Eight fans in a case this size means each one can turn slowly for the same result, which is the quiet way to move air
- Lighting daisy-chains into a single motherboard header along with the cooler, so the whole machine runs one lighting system with nothing to install and no app in your system tray
- Fan curves are set by hand before dispatch and verified through our standard stress testing rather than assumed. Honest expectation setting: a 190W card and a 148W processor is a moderate heat load spread across eight fans. This is a quiet machine at the desktop and composed under load
- ⚡ Power supply: DeepCool PL750D 750W 80+ Bronze, ATX 3.1
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- 750W against a build that draws around 380W under load, and against Intel's 650W recommendation for this card. Real headroom rather than just enough
- ATX 3.1 certified with a native 12V-2x6 connector, which means it is already the right supply for a much larger modern graphics card if you ever fit one. On a machine at this price that is not something you usually get
- 80 PLUS Bronze, non-modular. The cables live in the second chamber behind the tray, out of sight of the glass, which is where the dual chamber layout earns its keep
- DeepCool back it with a 10 year warranty, which is not something a manufacturer offers on a unit it expects to see returned
- 🔌 Cabling: Black cabling, routed into the second chamber
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- Everything routed through the tray into the second chamber and tied down there, out of sight of both glass panels
- The dual chamber layout does most of the work, which is a large part of why this case looks the way it does with no cable management heroics required
- 📶 WiFi / Bluetooth / Ethernet: Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and 2.5G Ethernet, included
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- Built into the ASUS PRIME B760M-A WIFI D4, with the aerial supplied in the box
- Wi-Fi 6 across the 2.4 and 5GHz bands. Not the 6E of our dearer machines, which adds the 6GHz band, but well ahead of any UK domestic broadband connection
- 2.5 Gigabit wired Ethernet, which we would still recommend over wireless for competitive play. Wired is about latency and consistency rather than bandwidth, and 2.5 Gigabit is the part that matters if you move large files to a NAS
- 🪟 Operating system: As chosen by you from the listing options below. Windows 11 Home (OEM) is recommended.
- 🧹 Setup and optimisation: PC36 High-Class Standard. Full stress test with certificate, bloat-free installation, and BIOS set up properly
Click or tap for deeper spec info
PC36 High-Class Standard, included free with every build
- Ready the moment you open the box. Your PC boots straight into Windows with a local account already set up. No account sign-in wall, no first-run questionnaire, no half-hour of setup before you can use the machine you just bought
- BIOS updated and configured properly: manual fan curves, XMP enabled, Resizable BAR enabled, Secure Boot enabled
- Vanilla Windows 11 installation if you choose Windows, with no bloatware added by us, and all drivers loaded and ready to go
- Full stress test with certificate. Every system is torture tested on CPU, RAM and GPU before dispatch, and ships with the certificate to prove it. The same test our most expensive machines get
PC36 Premier Optimisation, available in the listing options
- CPU tuning to bring thermals and noise down with minimal performance loss, plus a deeper strip and debloat of Windows and a hand-tuned fan profile
- Worth it if the machine is going somewhere you sit near it. With eight fans there is real scope to tune the curve rather than accept the defaults
PC36 Ultimate Performance Tune, available in the listing options
- Advanced tuning on top of everything in Premier
- Modest returns on this machine and we will say so. The processor is locked, so the processor side is a power and thermal tune rather than an overclock. The memory tune and the graphics card overclock are where the small gains are. Worth it if you want everything the hardware has, but the honest answer is that Premier is the better value tier here
- 🛡️ Warranty: 3 years parts & labour (return to base)
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- Standard 3-year coverage included, parts and labour both. The same warranty as every machine we sell, regardless of price
- Optional extended warranties in the listing options below
👁️ Transparency notes

Because this one is already built, the specification is fixed (click or tap to read more)
Most of what we sell is built to order from a series we can repeat. This is not that, which means the specification here is the specification: unlike our built-to-order machines, we cannot swap the case or the board for you, because this one is already built. Anything you would like changed is worth asking about on live chat before you order rather than after.
-
This is a lot of lighting, and it is the point of the machine rather than an accident (click or tap to read more)
8 addressable fans, a lit pump head and glass on two sides. If you want a machine that disappears into a corner, this is emphatically not it and we would point you at one of our stealth builds instead. If you do want it, the whole set runs from one motherboard header, so it can be configured once and turned down or off entirely without installing anything or leaving an app running in the background.
- The fans in this system are not tunable, and therefore this system may be a little louder than our hand-tuned models. It does not make a racket, but equally it's not a system built for silence. For most people this is no issue, but sound-sensitive users may prefer a different build

🛠️ Popular upgrade options
- This machine is already built, which changes what is possible. The options in the listing below are the ones we can do without taking it apart: your choice of operating system, the optimisation tiers, and an extended warranty. Anything involving components other than storage is a live chat conversation, and worth having before you order rather than after.

Windows 11 Home is what we recommend for a gaming machine and what most people take. Pro is worth it only if you need BitLocker, Remote Desktop or domain access. If you would rather install your own, choose the no-OS option and the machine still arrives with the BIOS configured and tested.
- PC36 Premier Optimisation: available in the listing options below.

The tier we would take on this machine. With eight fans and a liquid cooler there is genuine scope to tune the acoustic profile, and the deeper Windows strip is included. More useful here than the Ultimate tier, because the processor is locked.
- Extended warranty: available in the listing options below.
- Anything else: speak with us via live chat before you order. You'll be talking to one of us, not a chatbot.
- For RAM upgrades, please contact us rather than use the listing options because we will be able to offer said upgrade at a much lower price than what is listed in the dropdowns
🎯 What is this PC best for?
- 1080p gaming at high refresh rates, where the ten-core processor does its best work
- 1440p at high settings in modern titles, with XeSS doing some of the work
- 4K is genuinely playable at lower settings, which is more than most machines at this price can claim
- Competitive shooters and story games equally, rather than being pointed at one or the other
- Recording and streaming with AV1, which Arc does particularly well
- Anyone who wants the machine to be part of the room rather than hidden under the desk
