🤍 Blanc One

Clean, bright, effortless

Blanc One is the entry point to the Blanc line: a white Corsair 3000D Airflow with sensible hardware doing the work behind the glass. The Ryzen 5 5600 and RTX 5050 8GB are matched for smooth 1080p gaming, esports at high frame rates, and everyday study or work, with 1440p well within reach once settings are tuned. The ARGB lighting is kept deliberately restrained. On a build like this it is there to complement the look rather than take it over.

This build sits on AM4 and DDR4 for one reason, and we would rather say it plainly than dress it up: memory pricing. DDR4 currently costs a fraction of what the same capacity does in DDR5, B550 boards are cheap and long since fully sorted, and the Ryzen 5 5600 is a known quantity that has been paired with cards at this level for years. Every pound not spent on DDR5 and an AM5 board stays in the graphics card, which is the part actually setting your frame rates. That is how this machine holds its price without anything being quietly taken out of it.

🧬 Built to last, designed to evolve

This system is built on AMD's AM4 platform, and the honest version is that AM4 is the end of a road rather than the start of one. This board takes a Ryzen 7 5700X3D and nothing newer, because AMD moved on to AM5 for the generations that followed. What you get in exchange is a platform that is completely mature, with years of BIOS work behind it and none of the early-life quirks, at a price the current memory market makes very hard to match.

Inside the case there is still real room to grow. Four DDR4 slots with two of them free, so 32GB later is an addition rather than a replacement. A second M.2 slot sitting empty for another drive. A 750W power supply and a case with the clearance for a far larger graphics card than the one fitted today. The parts that set your frame rates are all still open to you, and those are the upgrades that change how the machine feels.

📃 Specifications

  • 🧠 CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600
Click or tap for deeper spec info
    • 6 cores, 12 threads of Zen 3, boosting to 4.4GHz, with 32MB of L3 cache and a 65W TDP
    • Enough single core speed to keep an RTX 5050 fed in the games this build is bought for, and enough multi core headroom to have a browser, Discord and a stream running alongside
    • At this graphics card tier the GPU is the part setting your frame rates, so the 5600 is deliberately the sensible choice rather than the expensive one. What it saves, along with staying on DDR4, is what keeps the graphics card where it is
    • No integrated graphics, so all display output comes from the RTX 5050. That is normal for this chip and nothing to work around
    • The trade worth knowing about: AM4 is a finished socket. The gaming top end is the Ryzen 7 5700X3D, which drops straight into this board, and there is nothing newer than that because AMD moved to a new socket after Zen 3. One upgrade available, then the platform is done
    • It runs the moment you plug it in. Every BIOS this board has ever shipped with supports Zen 3, so there is no update to do before it will POST
  • ❄️ CPU cooler: ID-Cooling SE 214 XT ARGB, single tower air cooler
Click or tap for deeper spec info
    • Four direct-touch heatpipes and a 120mm ARGB PWM fan
    • Comfortable thermal headroom for the 65W 5600 under sustained load, and quiet with it
    • The ARGB fan ties into the case lighting for a coherent look
    • If you would prefer liquid cooling, a 240mm AIO upgrade is available. See the upgrade options below
  • 🔲 Motherboard: Gigabyte B550 EAGLE WIFI6 (ATX)
Click or tap for deeper spec info
    • Gigabyte specify the power stage as "10*+3 digital", which in practice is five doubled Vcore phases plus three for the SOC. Plain English translation: comfortably more power delivery than a 65W six core asks for, and enough that the board is not the limiting part if you fit the 5700X3D later.
    • PCIe 4.0 x16 for the graphics card, wrapped in a one-piece stainless steel shield, with a one-click EZ-Latch release so removing a heavy card is a far less nervous job than reaching blindly for a plastic tab
    • Four DDR4 slots, dual channel, up to 128GB, with XMP support. Two of them stay free on this build
    • Two M.2 slots, both taking 2280 and 22110 drives: the top slot runs PCIe 4.0 x4 straight off the CPU and also accepts M.2 SATA, the second runs PCIe 3.0 x4. One is free. Gigabyte publish no lane sharing restrictions, so a second drive does not cost you SATA ports
    • Four SATA 6Gb/s ports alongside that, for hard drives or older SSDs
    • Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 onboard, plus Realtek Gigabit Ethernet. Gigabit, not 2.5G: some other boards in Gigabyte's EAGLE range carry the faster port and this one does not, so we would rather you read it here than find out later
    • Rear I/O: one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A at 10Gbps, one USB-C at 5Gbps, two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A at 5Gbps, four USB 2.0, HDMI 2.1, Ethernet, three audio jacks on a Realtek codec, and the Q-Flash Plus button. There is no DisplayPort on the board, which makes no difference here because your monitors run off the graphics card
    • Q-Flash Plus lets you flash the BIOS with no CPU, memory or graphics card installed. Useful insurance years down the line, though it is a single BIOS chip rather than a dual BIOS setup
    • Five fan headers, two ARGB and two RGB headers, plus a CPU LED header, which is what the case and cooler lighting runs from
    • One 8-pin CPU power connector, which is all a chip at this power level needs
    • PC36 only uses motherboards chosen for stability and longevity. See our Trusted brands page
  • 📏 Memory / RAM: 16GB (2×8GB) DDR4-3200 CL16
Click or tap for deeper spec info
    • A matched pair running in dual channel, which is how memory should be fitted. Staying on DDR4 is what lets us do that at this tier without the cost coming out of the graphics card
    • XMP is enabled and verified in BIOS before the machine ships, so it runs at its rated 3200 CL16 rather than sitting at the slower default a lot of machines are quietly left on
    • DDR4-3200 is the speed this platform is happiest at. It keeps the memory clock and Ryzen's internal fabric running in step, which is where Zen 3 does its best work, and it is also the fastest speed Gigabyte formally support on this board. Anything beyond it is an overclock
    • 16GB is the right amount at this tier. It is enough for modern games with a browser and Discord open alongside, and spending more on memory here would take money away from the part that actually sets your frame rates
    • Two of the four slots are free, so 32GB later is an addition rather than a replacement. Nothing you have already paid for gets thrown away
    • Specification guaranteed, model may vary. Happy to confirm the exact part on request
  • 💾 Storage: 1TB NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD (QLC)
Click or tap for deeper spec info
    • PCIe 4.0 speeds for quick boots and fast game loading. In normal use it feels identical to any other modern NVMe drive
    • QLC is the flash type, and it is what keeps a 1TB drive affordable. The one place you would notice it is writing very large files back to back, where sustained transfers of tens of gigabytes slow down once the drive's fast cache fills. Gaming, browsing and everyday work never do this
    • If you regularly move large video files, say so on live chat before you order and we will talk you through the alternatives
    • Specification guaranteed, model may vary. Happy to confirm the exact part on request
  • 🎮 Graphics card: NVIDIA RTX 5050 8GB
Click or tap for deeper spec info
    • Built for 1080p gaming at high settings in modern titles, and comfortable in esports at high frame rates
    • DLSS 4 with frame generation, which is what extends this card's reach into 1440p in supported games
    • Straight answer on 1440p and the 8GB: it will run 1440p with settings tuned, but this is a 1080p card first and the 8GB frame buffer is the part that will age soonest. If 1440p is where you actually want to be, say so on live chat and we will point you at the right build rather than sell you this one and let you find out
    • The chipset and VRAM are guaranteed: it will always be an RTX 5050 with 8GB. The AIB brand varies with availability, and we only use established manufacturers. See our Trusted brands page for more info
  • 🧰 Case: Corsair 3000D Airflow - White
Click or tap for deeper spec info
    • High-airflow mesh front with generous ventilation and dust filtration on the intakes
    • Clean, minimalist white mid-tower design that suits an uncluttered desk rather than shouting at it
    • Plenty of internal room for future graphics card and cooling upgrades
    • Alternative colourways and cases are often available by request via live chat
  • 🌬️ Case cooling: 3 × 120mm ARGB front intake included with the case, plus 1 × 120mm ARGB rear exhaust
Click or tap for deeper spec info
    • Three ARGB intake fans come pre-installed in the front, pulling cool air across the graphics card and CPU
    • We add a rear exhaust fan to complete the front-to-back airflow path, and the cooler carries its own 120mm ARGB fan on top of that
    • Lighting is kept tasteful to suit the Blanc aesthetic, and is controllable through motherboard software
    • Fan curves are tuned before dispatch, and airflow is verified through our standard stress testing rather than assumed
  • Power supply: MSI MAG A650BNL WHITE 650W 80+ Bronze
Click or tap for deeper spec info
    • 650W against a build that draws around 250W under a heavy gaming load. Comfortable margin without paying for capacity this machine will never use
    • 80 PLUS Bronze, a 120mm hydro bearing fan, and a five year warranty from MSI
    • White unit with white cables, which is why it is here rather than a cheaper black one. On a white case the cable runs are the thing you notice
    • Two 8-pin PCIe connectors and two CPU power connectors, which is more than this build needs and useful headroom if the card ever changes. No 12V-2x6 cable, which nothing in this build uses
    • Non-modular, so the cables this build does not need are tucked away rather than removed. That is hand work we do on every one
  • 🔌 Cabling: Stock white cabling, neatly arranged
Click or tap for deeper spec info
    • Cable routing kept clean in the main chamber, with the rear tidy but not overtightened, which makes future upgrades easier
  • 📶 WiFi / Bluetooth / Ethernet: Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 and Gigabit Ethernet, included
Click or tap for deeper spec info
    • Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 are built into the Gigabyte B550 EAGLE WIFI6. No separate adapter needed, and the aerial is supplied in the box
    • To be precise about it: this is Wi-Fi 6 on the 2.4 and 5GHz bands, not 6E, so there is no 6GHz band. It is a single-stream 80MHz radio, which is more than enough for streaming, downloads and everyday use, and we would rather describe it accurately than quote a headline number it will not hit
    • Gigabit Ethernet for a wired connection, which we would still recommend for competitive play
  • 🪟 Operating system: As chosen by you from the listing options below. Windows 11 Home (OEM) is recommended.
  • 🧹 Setup and optimisation: PC36 High-Class Standard. Full stress test with certificate, bloat-free installation, and BIOS set up properly
Click or tap for deeper spec info

PC36 High-Class Standard, included free with every build

    • Ready the moment you open the box. Your PC boots straight into Windows with a local account already set up. No account sign-in wall, no first-run questionnaire, no half-hour of setup before you can use the machine you just bought
    • BIOS updated and configured properly: manual fan curves, PBO enabled, EXPO/XMP enabled, Secure Boot enabled
    • Vanilla Windows 11 installation if you choose Windows, with no bloatware added by us, and all drivers loaded and ready to go
    • Full stress test with certificate. Every system is torture tested on CPU, RAM and GPU before dispatch, and ships with the certificate to prove it

PC36 Premier Optimisation, available in the listing options

    • CPU tuning to bring thermals and noise down with minimal performance loss, plus a deeper strip and debloat of Windows
    • Worth it if you want the quietest, leanest possible machine and would rather we spent the hours on it than you did

PC36 Ultimate Performance Tune, available in the listing options

    • Advanced overclocking: RAM tune, CPU tune and GPU overclock on top of everything in Premier
    • Best suited to higher-end builds where there is meaningful headroom to unlock. On a build at this tier the gains are real but modest, so most buyers here are better served by the Standard or Premier options. Ask us on live chat if you are unsure and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth it for your spec
  • 🛡️ Warranty: 3 years parts & labour (return to base)
Click or tap for deeper spec info
    • Standard 3-year coverage included, parts and labour both
    • Optional extended warranties in the listing options below
Why don't all parts list a brand and model?

Most of our spec is named exactly. The processor, motherboard, case, cooler and power supply are the models listed, every time.

For memory, storage and graphics cards we give a performance and quality guarantee instead of a model name. Supply on these three moves constantly, and pricing with it. Rather than list a part we might not be able to source next week, we commit to the specification: capacity, speed, timings, endurance class. And for graphics cards, we will always give you the chipset (e.g. RTX 5050) and VRAM (e.g. 8GB) that is listed.

We only use parts from established manufacturers. In practice the difference between two well-made components at the same specification is small enough that most people would never notice it.

If you'd like to know exactly what's going into your machine, ask before you order and we'll tell you. If you'd prefer a particular model, we can usually accommodate that, and you'd pay the difference in cost.

👁️ Transparency notes

  • The motherboard and graphics card are black rather than white, which is what keeps Blanc One at this price (click or tap to read more)

The case, the power supply and its cabling are white. The motherboard and the graphics card are standard black parts, and that is what makes this the entry point to the range rather than a compromise we are hiding. If you want a full whiteout build with white internals throughout, talk to us on live chat and we will put one together for you. Blanc Two and Blanc Three are built that way as standard.

  • Product images are representative photos of a similar spec in the same style. Your PC will look similar but not identical. Our support team can help clarify anything you're unsure of.
  • RGB heatspreaders on the RAM are not guaranteed unless the quick add-on is chosen - this is due to industry-wide supply constraints on memory
  • Memory, SSD and graphics card carry a specification guarantee rather than a fixed model (click or tap to read more)

Most parts are named models and will be what is delivered. RAM, SSD and graphics card instead carry a spec guarantee, because current market conditions make stock on those three very variable. This keeps us agile enough to offer good pricing and honest spec lists. If you want clarity on the precise models we will use, drop us a live chat on the day you're ready to purchase and we'll confirm it.

🛠️ Popular upgrade options

  • Need a monitor, keyboard or mouse? Scroll past the add to cart button. We've paired specific peripherals to get the best out of this build.
  • Memory upgrade to 32GB: available in the listing options below.
Click or tap for more info

Worth it if you stream, edit, or keep a lot open alongside your game. Two of the four DDR4 slots are free, so this is normally a second matched pair going in beside the sticks already fitted, or a 2×16GB kit where a single matched set of two is the tidier answer. For gaming alone at this tier 16GB is genuinely sufficient today, and DDR4 is cheap enough that this is an easy thing to do yourself in a year if you would rather wait and see.

  • Storage upgrade to 2TB: available in the listing options below.
  • CPU upgrade to Ryzen 7 5700X3D: choose it from the quick-add upgrades, or speak with us via live chat.
Click or tap for more info

Eight cores with AMD's 3D V-Cache, and the top of the AM4 socket for gaming. It is worth real frame rates in CPU-sensitive and competitive titles, and it drops into this board with no other changes. Two things to weigh: on this build the graphics card is the limiting part in most games, so we would put money into the GPU first, and this is the last processor this board will ever take, so it is a ceiling as much as an upgrade. If you would rather do it later, the option stays open.

  • Full whiteout build: available via live chat.
Click or tap for more info

White motherboard, white power supply with white cables, and a white graphics card where stock allows. It costs more, because white parts almost always do, and we would rather quote it properly than pretend it is free. Tell us what you are after and we will price it honestly.

  • Cooler upgrade to a 240mm AIO: choose it from the quick-add upgrades, or speak with us via live chat.
Click or tap for more info

Worth it if you want quieter running under load or prefer the look of a radiator to a tower. A 65W 5600 does not need it, so this is a preference rather than a fix.

  • PSU upgrade to 850W 80+ Gold: choose it from the quick-add upgrades, or speak with us via live chat.
Click or tap for more info

Worth adding only if you plan to fit an RTX 5080 class card in future. The PL750D already handles everything up to and including a 5070 Ti comfortably, so on the stock spec this changes nothing.

  • A larger graphics card: available via live chat.
Click or tap for more info

If 1440p is the real goal, this is the upgrade that matters and the one we would recommend before any other on this build. Tell us what you play and we will tell you which card actually makes the difference, rather than simply the biggest one.

🎯 What is this PC best for?
