🔥 Ark Three
The sweet spot. Nothing held back.
Ark Three is the build we'd point most serious buyers toward. The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is the reference point for gaming processors at this price, and the Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB gives it a graphics card that can keep up at 1440p and push confidently into 4K. Neither part is waiting on the other, which is the whole idea. The Corsair RM850e handles power cleanly and quietly, and it all sits behind the Pop 2 Vision's panoramic glass looking exactly as capable as it is.
High gaming performance, high CPU performance, genuinely good looking, and not escalated to sky-high pricing. That is the sweet spot.
🧬 Built to last, designed to evolve
This system is built on AMD's latest AM5 platform, which offers one of the best upgrade paths available today. That means you can start with a great processor now and still have room to move up the stack later, while keeping the same motherboard, case, power supply and most of your core components. GPU, storage and cooling are all easily upgradable so the system can grow with your needs over time.
📃 Specifications
- 🧠 CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- 8 cores, 16 threads, with 96MB of 3D V-Cache. That stacked cache is why this chip beats processors with higher clock speeds in games: more of what the game needs sits close to the cores instead of being fetched from memory
- The CPU that made 3D V-Cache famous, and still one of the best gaming processors available. In competitive shooters and simulation games especially, it is the part doing the heavy lifting
- Strong single and multi core performance, so gaming, streaming and productivity sit comfortably alongside each other
- AM5 means the upgrade path stays open. A 9800X3D drops straight into this board when you want more
- ❄️ CPU cooler: Thermalright Aqua Elite V6 240mm AIO liquid cooler
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- 240mm radiator with two 120mm PWM fans, top-mounted so heat leaves the case directly rather than being pushed around inside it
- The 7800X3D is not a hot chip to begin with. Giving it a 240mm AIO means the fans rarely need to spin up, so the machine stays quiet under sustained load rather than only at idle
- Chosen over a tower air cooler at this tier for sustained thermal headroom and a cleaner look through the panoramic glass
- A 360mm radiator upgrade is available. See the upgrade options below
- 🔲 Motherboard: MSI B850 Gaming Pro WiFi 6E (ATX)
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- 12-phase Vcore duet rail power system with 55A stages. Plain English translation: comfortably more power handling than the 7800X3D asks for, so the board will not be the limiting factor if you move up to a 9800X3D later.
- PCIe 4.0 x16 for the graphics card, which is full bandwidth for the RX 9070 XT. Gen5 makes no measurable difference to a card in this class
- Four DDR5 slots supporting up to 256GB, so memory can be expanded later without replacing the kit you already have
- Two M.2 slots, one of them PCIe 5.0 x4, leaving a second drive bay free at full speed
- Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3 and 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet onboard
- PC36 only uses motherboards chosen for stability and longevity. See our Trusted brands page
- 📏 Memory / RAM: 32GB (2×16GB) DDR5-6000 CL36
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- EXPO-tuned dual channel DDR5-6000, the speed Ryzen responds to best on AM5
- 32GB provides comfortable headroom for gaming, streaming, content creation and background tasks without paying for capacity that sits idle
- Two DIMM slots stay free for a later expansion
- Specification guaranteed, model may vary. Happy to confirm the exact part on request
- 💾 Storage: 1TB NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD (QLC)
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- PCIe 4.0 speeds for quick boots and fast game loading. In normal use it feels identical to any other modern NVMe drive
- QLC is the flash type, and it is what keeps a 1TB drive affordable. The one place you would notice it is writing very large files back to back, where sustained transfers of tens of gigabytes slow down once the drive's fast cache fills. Gaming, browsing and everyday work never do this
- If you edit video regularly, the second M.2 slot on this board runs at PCIe 5.0, so a fast scratch drive is a straightforward addition. Say so on live chat before you order and we will talk you through it
- Specification guaranteed, model may vary. Happy to confirm the exact part on request
- 🎮 Graphics card: Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- AMD's flagship RDNA 4 card. Exceptional at 1440p, and confident at 4K in modern AAA titles at high to ultra settings
- 16GB of GDDR6 handles demanding textures at 4K without hesitation, and is the reason this card will still be comfortable in a few years when 12GB cards are making compromises
- FSR 4 adds meaningful frame rate headroom in supported titles, and RDNA 4 closed most of the ray tracing gap that earlier Radeon cards carried
- The chipset and VRAM are guaranteed: it will always be an RX 9070 XT with 16GB. The AIB brand varies with availability, and we only use established manufacturers. See our Trusted brands page for more info
- 🧰 Case: Fractal Pop 2 Vision - Black RGB
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- 270 degree panoramic tempered glass across the front and left side, so the interior is visible from two angles at once
- Dual-chamber layout separates the PSU and cabling from the main components, keeping the visible chamber clean
- Supports graphics cards up to 412mm and CPU coolers up to 172mm tall
- The top mount takes up to a 360mm radiator, which is what makes the AIO upgrade straightforward later
- Tool-free access to both side panels, the top filter and the front panel
- Reverse connector motherboard support for a cleaner cable presentation where applicable
- 🌬️ Case cooling: 4 × 120mm ARGB reverse blade fans included with the case, plus 2 × 120mm on the AIO radiator
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- Four Fractal Aspect 12X Reverse RGB fans come pre-installed, two side intake and two bottom intake, feeding cool air straight onto the graphics card
- Reverse blade design means the lighting faces outward through the glass, producing a more even and deliberate ARGB effect than standard fans
- The AIO handles the CPU independently in the top mount, which leaves the case fans free to concentrate on the graphics card and motherboard
- Six fans in total, all tuned before dispatch. ARGB is controllable via the front panel buttons or motherboard software
- ⚡ Power supply: Corsair RM850e 850W 80+ Gold, fully modular
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- Includes a native 12V-2x6 cable, so a future graphics card upgrade needs no adaptor and no dongle: you plug the card straight in
- ATX 3.1 certified, which means it is built to absorb the brief power spikes modern graphics cards produce rather than tripping over them
- One of the most well-regarded units at this wattage, with strong independent results for efficiency and ripple suppression
- 850W gives the RX 9070 XT and 7800X3D comfortable headroom, with enough left over to step up to an RTX 5080 class card later without changing the power supply
- Fully modular, so only the cables this build actually uses are installed. Less clutter in the rear chamber and a cleaner view through the glass
- 🔌 Cabling: Black braided cables included as standard
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- The RM850e ships with individually braided black cables as standard, so there is nothing to add here and no upgrade to buy. The finish you see is the finish you get
- Routed cleanly through the dual-chamber layout, which keeps most of the cabling hidden from the glass side by design
- Fully modular means only the cables in use are present, so nothing spare is left cluttering the rear chamber
- 📶 WiFi / Bluetooth / Ethernet: Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3 and 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, included
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 are built into the MSI B850 Gaming Pro WiFi 6E. No separate adapter needed, and the aerial is supplied in the box
- Wi-Fi 6E adds the 6GHz band, which is usually far less congested than 2.4 and 5GHz if your router supports it
- 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet for a wired connection, which we would still recommend for competitive play
- 🪟 Operating system: As chosen by you from the listing options below. Windows 11 Home (OEM) is recommended.
- 🧹 Setup and optimisation: PC36 High-Class Standard. Full stress test with certificate, bloat-free installation, and BIOS set up properly
Click or tap for deeper spec info
PC36 High-Class Standard, included free with every build

- Advanced overclocking: RAM tune, CPU tune and GPU overclock on top of everything in Premier
- There is real headroom here, and the 240mm AIO and 850W Gold supply are already specified to support it. Worth considering if you want everything this hardware has, though the 7800X3D is a chip that arrives close to its ceiling. Ask us on live chat and we will tell you honestly what to expect
- 🛡️ Warranty: 3 years parts & labour (return to base)
Click or tap for deeper spec info
- Standard 3-year coverage included, parts and labour both
- Optional extended warranties in the listing options below
Why don't all parts list a brand and model?
Most of our spec is named exactly. The processor, motherboard, case, cooler and power supply are the models listed, every time.
For memory, storage and graphics cards we give a performance and quality guarantee instead of a model name. Supply on these three moves constantly, and pricing with it. Rather than list a part we might not be able to source next week, we commit to the specification: capacity, speed, timings, endurance class. And for graphics cards, we will always give you the chipset (e.g. Radeon RX 9070 XT) and VRAM (e.g. 16GB) that is listed.
We only use parts from established manufacturers. In practice the difference between two well-made components at the same specification is small enough that most people would never notice it.
If you'd like to know exactly what's going into your machine, ask before you order and we'll tell you. If you'd prefer a particular model, we can usually accommodate that, and you'd pay the difference in cost.
👁️ Transparency notes
- Product images are representative photos of a similar spec in the same style. Your PC will look similar but not identical. Our support team can help clarify anything you're unsure of.
- RGB heatspreaders on the RAM are not guaranteed unless the quick add-on is chosen - this is due to industry-wide supply constraints on memory
-
Memory, SSD and graphics card carry a specification guarantee rather than a fixed model (click or tap to read more)
Most parts are named models and will be what is delivered. RAM, SSD and graphics card instead carry a spec guarantee, because current market conditions make stock on those three very variable. This keeps us agile enough to offer good pricing and honest spec lists. If you want clarity on the precise models we will use, drop us a live chat on the day you're ready to purchase and we'll confirm it.
🛠️ Popular upgrade options
- Quick-add upgrades. This listing has a set of one-click upgrades chosen to fit this exact build, each one priced, in the Quick-add Upgrades section on this page. Memory, storage, optimisation, the anti-sag bracket and the extended warranty are in the build options instead. Anything not shown in either place, ask us on live chat and we will price it.
- Need a monitor, keyboard or mouse? Scroll past the add to cart button. We've paired specific peripherals to get the best out of this build.
- Storage and RAM upgrades: available in the listing options below.
- CPU upgrade to Ryzen 7 9800X3D: choose it from the quick-add upgrades, or speak with us via live chat.
Click or tap for more info
A real but incremental step up. The 9800X3D is the faster chip, particularly at high refresh rates in CPU-bound titles, but the 7800X3D is close enough that the graphics card will usually run out of headroom first. Worth it if you plan to upgrade the graphics card later and would rather have the CPU already waiting for it.
- AIO upgrade to a 360mm radiator: choose it from the quick-add upgrades, or speak with us via live chat.
Click or tap for more info
Worth it if the machine will sit close to you on a desk. The extra radiator area does not lower temperatures dramatically, but it lets the fans run slower for the same result, which is what you actually hear. At stock settings the 240mm is already sufficient for this chip. A 280mm is also possible, so ask if that suits your preference better.
- GPU upgrade to RTX 5080 16GB: available via live chat.
Click or tap for more info
A significant step up in ray tracing especially, and worth it if 4K at maximum detail or the highest possible 1440p frame rates are the goal. The RM850e handles it without a power supply change. One thing to know before you commit: RTX 5080 builds ship with the graphics card in a separate box for you to fit on arrival, because of its size and value. We fit and stress test it in your machine first, then remove and box it for transit. Ask us and we will talk through whether the step up makes sense for what you actually play.
- PSU upgrade to 1000W 80+ Gold: choose it from the quick-add upgrades, or speak with us via live chat.
Click or tap for more info
Worth it if you want long-term headroom beyond an RTX 5080. The included 850W already covers this build and that upgrade comfortably, so on the stock spec this is peace of mind rather than a fix for anything.
- Acoustics upgrade to the Noctua Pure Silence setup: available via live chat.
Click or tap for more info
Every case and cooler fan swapped for Noctua NF-A12x25 G2s, with a noise profile tuned into the BIOS to match. It is the quietest we can make a machine with current hardware. Worth saying plainly though: Noctua fans do not have ARGB, so this trades away the lighting that the Pop 2 Vision's panoramic glass is built to show off. If the look matters as much as the silence, talk to us first.
🎯 What is this PC best for?
- High refresh rate 1440p gaming, which is the tier where the 7800X3D and RX 9070 XT stop holding each other back
- 4K gaming at high to ultra settings in modern AAA titles
- Ray tracing and graphically demanding single-player games with headroom to spare
- Gaming and content creation at the same time, without either getting in the other's way
- Buyers who want to buy once, buy right, and not revisit the decision for several years
