MSI MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 — 27" 1440p 500Hz QD-OLED Gaming Monitor
🖥️ MSI MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 — 27" 1440p 500Hz QD-OLED
The competitive flagship — OLED's perfect blacks at the highest refresh rate available.
The 271QR X50 is the monitor we'd recommend pairing with a premium gaming build focused on competitive performance. 500Hz refresh rate on a 4th-generation QD-OLED panel means you get OLED's perfect blacks and instant response time without giving up speed for fast-paced games. DisplayPort 2.1 runs the full 500Hz without compression. Built for buyers who want no excuses on either side of the speed-versus-visuals trade-off.

👁️ Transparency notes
- To make full use of the 500Hz refresh rate you'll need a GPU capable of pushing high frame rates in your games — typically RTX 5080 / RX 9070 XT class and above. At lower frame rates the monitor still performs excellently, you just won't see the full benefit of the refresh rate.
- OLED panels can develop burn-in from static UI elements over years of heavy use. MSI's OLED Care 2.0 features and 3-year burn-in warranty are the industry standard protections, but worth understanding before choosing OLED.
- DisplayPort 2.1a is required to drive the full 500Hz — make sure your GPU supports DP 2.1 if maxing out the refresh rate matters. RTX 50-series and RX 9000-series cards support this. Earlier GPUs will run the monitor at lower refresh rates over DP 1.4.
- Product images are representative — your monitor will arrive in standard MSI retail packaging.
